At Rackbank Datacenter, we recognize that the rapid spread of COVID-19 and its wide-ranging impacts have caused severe disruption across society and tragic loss of life around the world. As we all adapt in our own way, we’re ensuring we do our part by protecting the safety of our team members, supporting the health and well-being of the communities in which we operate, and offering technology, tips, and resources to our customers and partners.

We are closely monitoring the current pandemic situation across the nation to ensure safety of our employees, including guidance being provided by Indian Government & Public Health Authorities around the nation. RackBank Datacenter is committed to support all of its customers, partners, resellers, staff and the community during these challenging times and to continue to support them in post pandemic times.

Data Center Preparedness

  • RackBank requests all our customers, partners and resellers to visit our data center only in case of very critical need.
  • We have increased emphasis on sanitation by including hand sanitizers in restrooms, break rooms and lobbies of our datacenter.
  • Non-mission critical employees are working remotely to minimize potential virus transmission at our office locations and data center.
  • We are prepared and are following our standard operating procedures related to emergency response.
  • Rackbank remains fully operational as our data centers qualify as “Essential needs” under the various orders.
  • If a visit to a data center is necessary, we would encourage visitors to bring their own masks or face coverings in accordance with local orders and guidelines as outlined by the management team.
  • While working in the data center, all customers should adhere to the latest guidelines on social distancing and sanitization to limit the spread to our staff and your teams.

Rackbank Staffing

  • We have suspended all non-essential work travel for our employees.
  • Employees whose physical presence is not required at the data center for operations are working remotely to minimize potential virus transmission at our office locations and data centers.
  • While our Data Center Management team has significantly reduced on-site employees count to minimize the number of employees in the data centers for social distancing purposes, we continue to pay and employ our full staff and can flexibly increase staffing to meet operational requirements.
  • We are closely monitoring the local governments in our data center markets and are following their requirements, including orders regarding restricted movement and staying home.
  • We also continue to encourage visitors to bring their own gloves and continue to practice social distancing at all times while inside our facilities.
